Unisol™ is the latest Industrial colorant
system designed for the most demanding and high performance solvent
based industrial coatings.
A broad range of non aromatic, high performance colorants with
a broad compatibility across industrial technologies, Unisol™ provides
a flexible and versatile choice to the coatings producer. Unisol™ incorporates
a range of pigmentation carefully selected to provide excellent
opacity, weather resistance, heat & light resistance as well
as chemical resistance. Highly pigmented the Unisol™ colorants
have a lower VOC content compared with older systems and therefore
reduce any effect and quantity of addition to the final coating
system.
Broad Compatibility
Designed to satisfy a broad spectrum of coatings, Unisol™ includes
a large selection of colorants from which the coatings producer
can utilise to construct the final range of colorants most suitable
for their market. The pigments used within the range ensures that
colour areas, such as Bordeaux, deep yellows, Magenta and Violet
areas are well covered. Unisol™ comes complete with a ready
and flexible formulation data bank of colour formulations of all
the major Industrial colour ranges used within the coatings market.
With a ready built matching database in a range of technologies,
whatever the coating manufacturers market Unisol™
can be adapted to fit their requirements. Typical uses include
technologies ranging from Long to Short Oiled Alkyds through to
polyesters, 2 pack PU, epoxys, and Nitro Cellulose as examples.
Flexible Base Structure
Because no two markets are the same and because coating manufacturers
normally have to produce not only a range of technologies but
qualities within them, Unisol™ has been designed from scratch
to allow a completely flexible base structure. A range of bases
as well as base strengths can be employed within not only one
